A Time to Heal (Sequel to “A Time to Lose”)

A year after the accident that took Beth’s life, Monica receives another phone call that upends her world once more. A small church in Ukraine needs a schoolteacher. Her plans have changed so often in the past few years, and now she is being asked to change them again, to spend the next year and a half of her life in the mission field.

Plunged into new challenges in a new community, Monica struggles to navigate the complex dynamics of a small school, the expectations of an unfamiliar culture, and the intricacies of complicated relationships.

Justin has resolutely turned away from his unfulfilled dreams and committed to a term of service in Ghana. Perhaps spending a few months in Africa will get his mind off his own problems.
